The latest trend in decorating Cakes and Cupcakes!  Decorating in 100% Butter cream! Together we will make Velvety smooth Swiss Meringue Buttercream which is perfect for piping beautiful flowers such as Roses, Dhalia’s, 4 petal Hydrangeas and zinnia’s straight on to your cake for the instant wow factor.  We will teach you a variety of piped flowers which can be piped straight on to the cake or transferred from a flower nail.  A large cake plus some mini cupcakes to enable lots of practice are provided plus all necessary materials. You only need to bring an apron and a snack for when we stop for a short break. We will keep you refreshed with tea, coffee and juice throughout your session.

This class is suitable for Adults and children over the age of 16.

You will learn how to:

  • Make Luxurious Swiss Meringue melt in the mouth buttercream
  • Prepare your cake with a crumb coat and final coat for silky smooth sides
  • Pipe a range of flowers such as Roses, Dhalia’s, 4 petal Hydrandea’s and Zinnia’s
  • Colour Buttercream evenly and how to mix colours to give a two tone effect.
